Jeremy did one of these, so now it’s my turn. Hotchip is awesome and their latest album just shows how much they have progressed as a group. Their latest video was directed by Peter Serafinowicz, a British funnyman with his own show on the Beeb. anyway, back to the music, it’s a great song and the video makes it pretty obvious who they are making fun of. Also I just love the ridiculousness and awesomeness of the video. So that’s it. I don’t really care what you think.

So not only am I going to most likely post quite a bit today , I also wanted to try a new segment called I don’t care what you think. it’s about bands, or musicians who many people seem to have a strong distaste for, yet I or Brendan seem to really enjoy it. So here it is….

I love bjork.

That’s right you heard me. I can’t get enough of her musically/ artistically. I think my fascination with her stems from the fact that there really is no one else who is doing the style of music that she is creating. It’s some pretty intense stuff and i think people are turned off by her because of the fact that it’s extremely  difficult to try and categorize her style of music. There isn’t a driving bass beat, there are only sometimes syncopated rhythms. ANYWAYS.
